Just an offtopic here, simple question. When you press ALT at fsp to display the menu, is it possible to hide the meny again as it won't automatically
disappear?

You can also press "Alt" again for a few seconds (2 or 3) and the menu bar should be hidden again ! Cool

Well, there's allways the translator ! Turning

I can't imagine using a translator while flying in particular while taking off or landing !!
I'm playing in full screen mode and there is no translator integrated in fsx... Wink

By the way english is not a problem for me. Mine is not perfect but I can live with it and understand what I read.
But I'm just thinking to all those french people that will use FsP .... Smile

Hope the work is going well Dan and hope we can test and use FsP X soon !

An other question coming now : what about FsP X registration for those of us who owned FsP yet ? Will there be an upgrade with a
special price ?

Thanks a lot again for your work,
Have lots of nice things !!
Cheers,
Laurent

Oui, oui j'ai bien compris !! Smile

Wink

That's what is done for menu, texts are kept in an external file.
Howewer menu text never change so it's easy to replace "Change ceintures" by "Switch seat belt"
when it come with dynamique texts that contain a lot of RTF tag and other value it add to the difficulties.

Hello,

I do not often because personally, I have to use the google translator to understand and write English.

Nevertheless, I have a small question about FSP for FSX.

Do you have a clear date for its release?
I know that it's not easy to adapt to the FS9 FSX (I am myself a student programmer), but good an idea as a gift would be nice New Year ^ ^.

Will it be compatible with FSX Acceleration?

Sincerely
Lionel

Not yet, I expect to get it within two month but it's impossible to say yet. As said previously all may run smooth but one feature may block
me during several days and this is impossible to predict.

Yes, Aceleration use FSX-SP2 and FsPx is programmed to work with SP2 (will work only with SP2)

NEW:

As seat belt is now an "official value" of the SDK FsPx interact with it, mean if you press seat belt button on panel FsPx will understand
that and if you set by FsPx's menu the button on panel will move accordingly.
This of course given that the aircraft use the "official value", some third party aircraft may not use it but it would be easy to update with a
default seat belt gauge.

I have concerns regarding this. At present, I am unable to use SP2 due to a bug where FSX crashes when you access the alt menu bar.
Microsoft and Nvidia are blaming each other. Nvidia are blaming Microsoft and Microsoft are not releasing any more patches. The only
solution is to remove SP2.

Oh dear!

If the program can survive both HBs and my own flying skills it will be more then suitable for the general public, not mentioning flying leg

Big Grin My skills in crashing programs is even more to fear! Don't give it me to beta test or you have to delay the release date some
more months! Big Grin

Naw more serious. I think I will be a little too busy with my own project for at least still 1 or 2 more month. What concerns me: If FsP Beta
testing is done after I released FSET v1.0 and WT3 starts or has started then it might be a well thinkable idea for me if Dan wants.
But I myself am perfectly happy also when I can sit back and enjoy the WT3 tour and our wonderful chaos hardcore booze crew and not
have to bother about anything that has to do with programming for a time in my spare time. I am a little oversaturated at the moment.
At the moment I just have 1 target: To finish FSET After that I look forward to an enjoyable, relaxing carefree WT3 tour with some
challange and beautiful desitinations. If FsPx isn't ready by then, well then I guess I will simple join later ...
I already have some ideas how I could fill the 'emptiness'. Wasn't there a movie missing? Wink

That's byway also an add on I so miss. A flightsimulator Add On that allows to create movie like movies with the FS. (camera movements,
3D people, faces, detailed flight deck, detailed terminals iinstalaltions.. flats..etc.. everything that is required to make a short interesting
movie and tell a story. Hehe, I know I expect too much from a FlightSim! Wink

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Urthgental - 07-01-2008

@ HB-100:

So you will not join WT3 if FsPX will not be released in time? I really understand this.

To be honest, I only had a couple of good free flights since I moved to FSX in spring 2007 and waited for FsPX to be released. I was just
too much used to have my personal airline, a career path and the thrill of possible failures.

So well, I am stuck since 10 months the middle of a 72-legs 'discover europe' tour with my cessna 172 waiting at gibraltar to continue the
journey...

But two months do not sound too bad, at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Regards,
Heiko
