Hi all. The Aeroworx King Air B200 has a Fasten Seat Belt switch (not button) on the copilot switch panel. It has three positions (Off, FSB, and
FSB/No smoking) and produces a pleasing ping when turned on. Except for the sound I think the gauge is entirely cosmetic. I have taken a look at the
XML in the gauge and as far as I can tell the switch is linked to the TOGGLE_AFTERBURNER2 event. There is no afterburner so I think this is just a
dummy event for it. But I don't understand XML.
Anyway, I've been hoping to install the FSP seat belt button, but it doesn't fit cosmetically with the B200 and of course would mean having two FSB
buttons. My question:
Can the B200 gauge be modified so that it functions in place of the FsP gauge? Alternatively, can the bitmaps in the FsP be changed to those of the
B200 FSB switch and the two gauges swapped in the panel? Is this making sense? I don't know gauge programming but it seems like a simple thing. I'd
like to avoid using the keyboard shortcut.
I did a search here but couldn't find anything relevant
