I don't care about ATC chatter playing in the background on flights, but I have used its function for something else.
I have another add-on which came with some chit-chat wav files between the pilot and co-pilot. I have added these wav files to frequency
118.87 (8 of them) and filled the folder up with 52 empty wav files (playing 1 sec of silence). In FSP menu I've set it the radiochatter to low
traffic.
Results:
When I set COM2 to 118.87 I get to hear a nice little chit-chat every now and then, this adds to the ambiance of the cockpit. I even included
some other wav files like clearing the throat (co-pilot) and shuffling of paperwork. You could even think of adding some boarding sounds
used by FSP itself, like the laughing woman or the talking. Anyways, you get the idea
Perhaps Dan is willing to supply us with some nice wav files of some meaningless conversation between the pilot and co-pilot in a next
update? I think it would be great!
