No, but I need one. I'll have a look tonight and see if I can get anywhere.
Edit: Job's done. I'll upload it as soon as I have finished this test flight... It seems to work, but FSP still insists on editing the payload section, even though I can see nothing at all wrong with the payload section of the PSS aircraft itself. I've currently got 37 passenengers and a full baggage bay on board, so I haven't tested it to MTOW (my airline simply doesn't get that many passengers!) Ian P. Post Edited ( 08-08-05 21:05 )

Do you have a good CG on it? Cause when I fill my Dash8-102 up, it's awfully back-heavy...

Well, the CofG reports as "good" when I test it and I the flight I mentioned above from Seattle to Eugene in it with 37Pax and a full baggage/cargo
hold went without any issues other than the "FS over-revving the engines on start-up" one which I know can be solved by starting on the toe brakes rather than parking brake. It's set up to match the weight and balance as given by the PSS Loader program. Assuming it gets okayed and uploaded (I've no idea how long that takes) give it a try and let me know what you think. I may be able to tweak it if you feel it is tail heavy, because FSPassengers is using its own loading line, not the PSS ones (which I have set at empty). Ian P.

No problem. I fixed my CG problem by moving front passengers a bit more forward, playing "rear" passengers around center, and moving cargo a bit
forward. Now it's quite stable even when fully loaded. "Dont be too optimistic. The light at the end of the tunnel could be a train." - Franz Kafka

The PSS payload model only has one load location for the entire cabin, plus a "baggage" section at the rear, which I set as cargo, so I hope no-one
should come across that problem. That said, I made an absolute corker of an error creating this ini file before I spotted it... Instead of putting in a number of seats, I put the maximum load into the appropriate box. Now *that* caused an out of CofG error!!!! Ian P. |
