Hmmm, I don't hear of individuals complaining about needing this adjusted

Maybe few folk who post here fly (very) short hops and/or, not knowing anything different, accept FSPX's complaint.
Perhaps FSPX's response to the Guernsey to Jersey flight that triggered this thread is an irregular glitch. The flight does need at least 10 mins in the air (at least, in the turboprop I use). I've now flown a couple of other short hops (to see what FSPX made of them) and FSPX accepted those without complaint. David K Post Edited ( 08-22-10 18:07 )

You insist this is a glitch, so please write Dan an email to expose your complaint, sir.

Apologies; my message wasn't meant to insist there was a glitch, just to suggest that perhaps there had been one. I've now flown a couple of other
short hops (to see what FSPX made of them) and FSPX accepted those without complaint -- so maybe (I'm not sure) it was just a one-time glitch. Hope that clarifies what I meant to say. David K Post Edited ( 08-22-10 18:07 )

Since I'm the only one here that is certified "grumpy"........................David, you seem to complain alot. Why go to all the trouble of setting
up a 10 minute flight when you know it won't count and then grip about it? If you want something to moan about try landing your 747 into Lukla. Now that's a party!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beer please If it's stupid, but it works, it isn't stupid.

I hadn't realised that a 25-min flight that included less than 10 min in the air (according to FSPX) would be "bad", even though it's a flight that's
regularly flown in the real world. Unfortunately, I don't know how to operate a 747 and don't know without looking where Lukla is! Sorry if my posts read like complaints. It's probably just the urge to polish FSPX so it shines even more. Meanwhile, the next round's on me. David K

Something like that... or, for some reason, FSPX miscalculated the air-time. Both airports involved are pretty small regional ones, so I don't think
the taxiing took a long time. Anyway, the other short hops didn't incur FSPX's wrath, so onward to other destinations. Hope you're enjoying your beer. David K |
