Moste of the time I use time acelleration. Max of 16x. I often bring the plane to cruise altitude and then speed up the simrate. When I'm
close to the airport I put it to normal speed again.
As also as said above, take-off and landing are the best parts (I think) and I like to make many, many flights. As I often fly with Easyjet on
MSFS I make Europehops, I calculate my turn-around time (if often happens that there is a delay!)
My plane fully loaded and I continue to my next destination.
Let me give you an example of what I often do.
I make my flightplan before I start my first flight.
1st flight:
EGPH-EHAM
STD:0800
STA:0928
2nd flight:
EHAM-LFMN
STD:1013
STA:1158
3rd flight:
LFMN-LEMD
STD:1243
STA:1427
etc... (I have about 6 destinations in total + return)
All times in GMT and all times are blocktimes.
I choose a 45 minute turn-around time for every destination (that's quite realistic for Easyjet). When I arrive I ad 35 minutes to my ATA
(actual time of arrival) and then I choose a random boarding time. If boarding time is less than 10 minutes, I will depart early or on time. If
boarding time is more than 10 minutes, I will depart with a delay (could be caused by late pax or baggage problem, busy air traffic, bad
weather, etc, etc..just imagine yourself) A go-around will also cause a delay ofcourse.
I like to do as many of these flights as possible when I can. So I do use time acceleration.
Tasos.
