DEV NEWS: Really good work today. 7 functions back but also one of the most tricky feature is back. "Tire blowing" failure is a feature that is not available at all in Fsx. It's one the of the most complicated "hack" that no other addon offer and it's now working again. I can make yet a complete flight with FsPassengersX on the steam edition but it still miss a lot of corrections and check. Also the installer should be rewritten and all the utilities compiled again. The "Belly Landing" is also a unique feature that is working again: Quote:enzoaugusto wrote: You can find already two voicepack and the manual in portuguese. http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=down...oad=submit Multi language is available in FsPassengers since the first release (Menu, splash dialog and help text can be localized) but it require that a user translate them and post the files in the download section. You can find the utility to translate FsPassengers in the folder: "FsPassengers/Language". Launch the translate utility "FsPXEditLanguage.exe" and see the readme.txt in this folder. DEV NEWS: The miniDisplay is back also. This one took me two days... The asm code has changed so the call is different in steam edition (for you that change nothing of course)

DEV NEWS: I checked, tested and corrected a lot of code today, so nothing really special to report (War area effect back, save &load flight back, aircraft Effect back etc.) But I had an idea for a new feature: Nothing is more boring than having an unfair penalties in report, due to error in FSX scenery ("rolling outside"), aircraft, bug or any other cause. So I'll add a link in the end of flight report that will open a "remove penalties" dialog that give you the choice to remove a penalty before registering the flight. There will be a BIG warning that cheating can spoil the game, but for fair pilots this feature can really help to get a perfect career. I'll probably add also a "remove penalty" counter, someone that use it too much may receive a negative message. (i.e.: "cheater !") I didn't started this feature yet but it's in my TODO list.

Hello Forum!
I never used FSPX yet... Mainly because i didn´t know of its existence. Now after the Steam release of FSX I decided to revive my old love and of course I put together all my favorite addons and discovered some new ones including this gem. I am really looking forward to fly with FSXP! I know there are many eyes watching your progress Meanwhile I will prepare my bush flying service "Glorious Bushtards" with repaints etc.

Quote:enzoaugusto wrote: No date yet, I can make a FsP flight without problems yet but the hell is in details, one "bug" can take me suddenly two weeks to solve. There is 80'000 lines of code, 6 applications to check and compile (Payload_Editor.exe, FsPXEditLanguage.exe etc. etc.) the install/uninstall programs will be somewhat complex (the fspassengers location have changed and is now in "user/document" to avoid write permission problem) because there is several case to manage (upgrade from regular fsx, from steam fsx, from old fsp install, from new fsp install...) etc. etc. DEV NEWS: I checked, tested and corrected again some code today. (The goal is 100% of sensitive function stamped with "steam verified" ) Uploaded & checked the beta test website (will maybe open within 15 days for first tests) Started to get a code signing certificate again (comodo) for all the programs and dll. I'm working on the failure code actually, here the "fuel tank leak effect" (left tank) Post Edited ( 02-04-15 15:29 )

Dan this is by far the best news I have heard in a long time. I have had FSX for ages and to be fair your FS Passengers is the only reason I keep
flying as FSX is a bit of a dead world otherwise. I had bought FSX:SE but had resigned myself to be running both normal FSX & FSX:SE separately, one for your FSP and the other for multiplayer. I am sure my post is not the only one of hundreds to express delight in looking forward to FSP coming onto FSX:SE. Really fantastic job on this Dan. Ok ok, I will stop fanboy gushing now ha ha. Keep it up mate Post Edited ( 02-05-15 12:31 )

DEV NEWS: Still waiting for the code signing certificate from Comodo. I don't want to start the beta test on an alpha version, so all should be almost finished. Working on the installer yet: All the case should be tested, even double installation (behind you see a small part of the C++ code of the installer ) Quote:M@ttyB1971 wrote: Much thanks for your kind word. I must say that the positive messages I received until now multiply my energy Post Edited ( 02-09-15 18:45 )

Funny things:
You'll be able to fly on both installation of FSX (steam/vanilla) with the same FsPassengers's database and setups. Simply install FsPassengers two times, once for every version. Technically the FSX's folder will now only contain the FsPassengers's dll. The folder of FsPassengers which contain all the files, database, setups, payload models will stay in the user's document folder and can be used by each versions.
