mcdonnell douglas dc 10 collection, Fs Passenger doesn't work well with that aircraft,
in fact very un-realistic, Almost impossible to land the plane with out it blowing a tire
or saying your landed off the runway when you didn't, LMAO
i landed and then check out the review on the flight details..
It said i lost points for landing off the runway, and also damage landing gear,
then also it said good landing lmao
FS passenger doesn't know weather it's a good landing or not with the DC 10..
the author of this fs passenger should get that DC 10 add on and then try it
on his system then fix this..
fist off i'm actually a pilot,, been one for over 22 years, started as a private pilot
then got my commercial back in 1995, flew smalls charters for 5 years
in a Lear Jet 45, then flew for Fedex for 10 years, and yes
i have flown the mcdonnell douglas dc 10 cargo version, NOT passengers.
any way the landing on that aircraft can take a harder landing
more so then any other, example 737, 747,MD80 The DC 10 is a tank and
Can take a huge hit to the landing gear, because it actually does
specially when landing with a full load.
in FsX the way i landed the dc 10 the tires would never have blow not even close.. LOL
just to let the author of fspassenger know, the way he has it set is totally un-realistic not even close..
believe it or not the landing gear and tires can take a full dead drop from the DC10
falling strait down at 40 feet at landing speed no problem..
How ever no pilot lands it like that ever but it can take that kind of a hit,
i can tell you first hand because once i was 40 feet above the runway
when i hit wake turbulence and came to a full drop from 40 feet, and the tires was fine
not even 1 single damage to either the tires or landing gear..
if you ever really took a look at the landing gear and tires up close in real life on the DC 10
you would know why it can take that kind of punishment..
The Mcdonnell Douglas DC 10, is a TANK!!!!
Oh by the way here is footage of hard landing, landed so hard it bounced, tires was fine tho gee would you look at that.
