I know how you feel, I can't get in to flight simming without an objective and something to keep me flying smooth and correctly, FSP filled a huge hole for me.

Guys, let's all try to take a break ourselves. Dan has already done a tremendous amount of work for a 1 man team. He will update us when there is something noteworthy to announce.

For a project of this scale as a one-man band, you really have to give him some credit for all the achievements that he has done so far and await patiently the final product. The product is much more ready for release than it was 12, 6, 3 months ago. It might just take a little longer for it to be pushed out to the public. It might be a Back-to-School present, you may find it under the Christmas tree. We all shall see

You should both relax, and not try to control the thread by telling others what to do or say. This thread is dedicated to news about FSP for P3Dv4, and there is nothing wrong about asking for an update once every two months. We are all aware of the scope of this project, as Dan has already described it to us in this thread. If you don't like reading questions from other folks, then feel free to unsubscribe and show yourself out

Now now folks. Let's take a deep breath and cool the jets. I'm sure we will hear from Dan soon.

Since from the begining, i always thought that a very fast update for FSP with all in same settings. but he gone into upgrading the features also...No one knows how many years it will take....

Think of the project as "building the addon from the ground up". Along the journey, Dan will have implemented many improvements and new features, so yes it will take time but the wait will have been (hopefully) worth it. I am really hoping to hear something from Dan in September. But we can only just watch this space

According to Dan, there was what? A 98% chance of FSPassengers P3D v4 being released in September? So hopefully we won't have to wait much longer.
Flying without FSPassengers always feels like a rather hollow experience for me.

Yeah, that's a good point. I wonder if the time is being taken up by new features, or just the core work of transitioning to 64-bit. |
