I read the FAQ, just to prove it, here is the excerpt:
AVOID FALSE EMERGENCIES:
You must not use FS9's own failure system, as they are not detected by FsPassengers.
Some advanced aircrafts such as PMDG have their own failure systems which are impossible for FsPassengers to detect, so be sure to DISABLE the failures in such aircrafts. FsPassengers has enough of them to please you. If you are not sure if a failure comes from the aircraft or from FsPassengers see below:...
Okay, so we know that the failure system of add-on planes that have one are not recognized and therefore kinda mess up a FSPax flight.
My question is, if I turn off the failures on a add-on and FSPax gives me one, will it still affect the aircraft like a stock FSX plane? Will the payware plane be messed up by FSPax "taking over" its functions? Should I follow the payware's procedure for a failure, or use some other FSPax checklist.
I ask because I noticed that my current company seems to be set to no failures, but I could swear that I remember getting one from FSPax (the co-pilot announced it). Is there something I could have done to inadvertently change that setting?
I guess I will start a new company and turn failures back on.
