well im getting off work at 4pm friday. walking out to my truck and my mother calls me. "your not going to be abel to get down the road, the woods is
on fier"
okay.
i go home and drive down the road where some of my neibors where hanging out talking caues they could not get to thire homes. the fier DEPT had
the road blocked.
these pics where whats left of the woods around that road. AKA the only road to my house.
this is the area in question
RED: where the fier was
YELLOW: Where i talked to the neibors for a hour
BLUE: my house
Most likly someone was burning something (they should not have been) and i got out of controle. luckly the fier DEPT was able to contain it before
any serious damage was done.
however there was one casualtie. our mail box wich has stood for 15 years did not survive. it made it throue wind, rain, dumbasses on 4-whellers. it
stood there every day and night. ready for the mail wich came every day at 10am. sadly it was but plastic on a 10ft wood post. it melted. and the mail
for that day was in it (hopefully it was nothing important).
this is whats left. our mail box was in the middle
well. im going to home depot tomorrow.
ive been sayen the brush between thoues trees needs to be cleaned out. it is now.
