With 1.30 hours flights from Sweden to London, RyanAir has announced it's interest in having standingslots for part of the passengers
instead of chairs in their 737's. The slot for standing is a slot with armrests (it looks like the Los Angeles Olympiad NASA STOL backpack
w/o the backpack - a wall behind your back to the floor only) and you strap in with belt to it... It cuts the costs for passengers and increases
profit for the company....
I think it's far into realising, soon or allready introduced (it's rather long time since I heard about this soo). I just wanted to tell you and hear
your reactions/comments.
