Thanks for the nice comments! Glad you liked my little story
It really is a bit of work but I've done similar comic style layouts before for an advertising thing, and if you use photoshop macros and don't mix too many fonts it's not too hard. Took me about 3 hours. Quote:poden wrote:I know my day will come!

Eazy, did you fly the route with the GNL-90 GPS ( or whatever is called), virtual navigator or did you use NVU navigation? I have started to learn the
Ty-154 but I am curious on how to follow the routes...Starting the aircraft from Cold and Dark, APU, gyro alignment and all the pre takeoff stuff took me 3 hours to achieve!!!

Oh I am late... But, WOW!! Great job, eazy! Pictures, movies, comics..what comes next!? We have some creative pilot's here!

I think I should take some extra math lessons before I'll be able to (I was proud that I could at least correctly realign the gyroscopic compass and HSI before landing.) The GPS looks pretty basic but has a lot of functions. btw, Aris: I made a new payload model for the Tu154-B because the ones available here didn't work for me (CG is always way above 40% MAC and you can actually see the nose go up after loading). Although my PM has a "bad CG" in the FSP payload editor, it gives almost the same values (around 29 to 32% MAC) as shown in the PT load editor (with same fuel/pax) and enables correct stabilizer trim. I will upload it to the FSP site shortly, but if you want to try it, you can also download it here: http://www.vademo.com:8080/files/TU154_PM.zip If you have the time to test it, I'd be glad to know how it works for you. Thanks. Post Edited ( 03-27-07 21:18 ) |
