Hey guys!
I was wondering if when flying the 737 you use step climbs. I know that the PMDG 737 FMC doesn't offer it, but I can adjust the cruise
altitude in the CRZ page on the FMC and do the step climbs there.
If I am flying a 2500nm leg, I believe step climbs would be appropiate. Am I right? The problem is that the FMC doesn't tell you when you
should do the step climb. I know the Level D 767 or 747 offer to notify the amount of nm to start the step climb.
Any suggestions on how this should be done in the PMDG?
Today I started my step climb on my 2500nm leg at about 800nm from my destination.
Let me know your suggestions.
