What's more, after disabling switches, the plane behave like it is very light...turns are very fast and "aggressive". With switches turned on, plane steer like a "heavy" plane. Turns are slower, and plane in overall seems to be slower in moves. Is that normal?

Yes, sir...big airplanes like the A321 shouldn't have the agility of a F16

Fly by wire it's a totally different flight phylosphy. With those switches Off, your stick it's just a regular cloche and the aircraft behaves proportionally to your inputs.
With those switches On (=fly by wire On) you need to use your stick in a different manner: you chose the direction of flight and the aircraft will follow that direction. For example, if you start climbing at 10° and then you leave your stick to neutral, the aircraft keeps 10° climbing (trimming is automatic). This is somewhat simulated in FSX even with several simplifications to a real fly by wire system. Fly by wire computer should avoid all dangerous manouvers by the pilot, this is why the aircraft is smooth with the system on. Post Edited ( 06-26-15 14:13 )

Great answers friends. So, why its automatically disabling at low altitude on landing? For me, plane is set up for landing and I
dont need to have ability of F16 in my opinion this should be ON for all flight. Or...Maybe im wrong Ow, and Joe, about trimming, pitching and evelating, I have read on real checklist of A321 that trim....or pitch? Should be at +10 degrees on takingoff. I have set this to +10 degrees (it was on around +3 position on scale) and plane has started to put nose up at around V1 speed what caused tailstrike... should I make control it by stick to not raise up so fast or there is a mistake in checklist? You are confusing trim and pitch. Checklists are right, your pitch should be 10° (= 10° degrees of climbing above the horizon, see the artificial horizon to do this).
Trim is the wheel that you adjust to have a tuning of elevetor position, in order to keep a flight direction (levelled, climb, descent).

So, do I have to set pitch (to set degrees of climb) and trim in order to climb?
28-06-2015, 10:36 AM
Yes you first set/choose your climb pitch by controlling your stick. Later during the climb, in order to remove the eventual pressure on your stick, you trim the elevators.
You could refers to FSX flight school manual, for sure is much better than me in explanations! :D :D

Sam, your post does nothing to contribute to this particular thread. Actually, the OP was trying to get a better understanding between pitch and trim
requirements. Leftcoaster's posts were, in my professional opinion, quite spot on in his attempt to help the OP. Is it your position to argue the previous posts? If so, please provide your insight.

Firstly he said "something external seems to be disrupting your trim" which in fsx is impossible. Secondly he talked about an FMC when the default a321
doesn't have one and assumed the a321 was an ad on. Thirdly he talked about visibility weather which has nothing to do with this topic. Fourthly he mentioned a radalt when there is no radalt in sight with the default a321. Lastly he said "controlling your energy state to nail the necessary Vat or Vref is always a good plan and virtual pilot skill" which pilots in real life is expected to have this skill and is not just a good skill for virtual flying. I was trying to bring up the errors in his otherwise brilliant flight dynamics explanation. I tend to use the forms when its night and I have nothing to do so responded and posts tend to be a bit worse than if it was during the day.
Kind Regards
