Okay, just finished my reinstall - hopefully everything here is squared away.
So, I think you found a genuine bug! I just tried the same and got blocked out on all Boeings until the B747's.
You can always fake it, for now - just enter the codes of aircraft you want to fly starting on the fifth line of the pilot file. For example:
B733,B734,B735
I'll look into this 'cause this is just weird. Must be a stupid level goof in there. I've already found a few dopey things I've done.
My favorite is trying to run a calc on a string variable - DUH! VAL function! :D
I'll work on it in a bit - after I finish getting my system solid.
There are some DC10 jobs in there - I can think of a few offhand - World Airways I think has a DC10 (you should also have type-rating for
MD11's as well); Fedex, Gemini Cargo and Omni have 10's.
Remember, each airline job has a % chance of being offered. You may have to skip many days to find the job you like. Also, some
require you to start out low and work up. I think Fedex might have you start out with the 727 or A310 with the big ones coming after you
have airline hours in.
Maybe I should also make a routine to reduce your cash everyday, like expenses or something. That way, you can't just skip skip skip all
day - maybe only on highest difficulty level. Hmm...
