Error - Incorrect Authorisation, FS Passengers Shutting down

HI Dan,

I got this message in the middle of a flight.

I checked, and FS Passengers X is registered correctly according to FS Passengers X - so what's going on?

Next flight. FS passengers starts okay. The halfway through the flight, after turning off the seatbeat, then went to turn it back on, FSPAssengers X
was unresponsive. Opened the mini report, closed it, and the display disappeared and no keyboard commands would work. FS Passengers just quit with no
warning.

There seem to be a few bugs that need working on.

I don't think it's a bug.

Reenter the correct registering infos, should be ok.

The problem is, the registration is correct. It has worked previously and it worked the second time; so why would I have to renter it again? I'm not
sure I understand.

I got the same thing already for the second time It was once short before the end of a flight and once shortly after take off. FSPX is correctly registered and works otherwise normal.





Could it be an issue with a firewall or a FSPX server unavailable during flight ?

Any advice ?

edit: it just happend again, on a flight from Hobart to Launceston, a few minutes after take off, FSPX tells me to buy FS Passenger and quits

Running on WinXP pro with SP3 and FSX with SP2

edit 2: reinstallation seems to have solved the problem

It should not be a problem with firewall, server returned an OK, it was not blocked because you see Registered.

As wrote in doc appart at unlock time there is no online check at all... if reinstallation fixed I can add this to FAQ.

I had no more problems after reinstallation, everything seems to work perfectly. One more thing to mention, I switched from Acceleration
to SP2 after the first installation of FSPX maybe that was the problem.

I also experience this. Seems to be random as I made 4 or 5 flights between 2 occourances.

will install over the existing files help or do I need to make a complete uninstall/install procedure?

I did a complete uninstall / install with complete loss of pilots data (was not much so it didn´t realy hurt )

I just reinstalled over existing files and re-entered the license key number. Didn't lose any data this way, but haven't made enough flights to see if
it worked. So far, so good.

Have had same. 2 days ago suddenly came "Wrong authorization".....
I will check that firewall idea...

As said it can't be the firewall, look like something went wrong at unlock time OR it can happen if you start to move copy etc other files
than the one authorized.

1-Boot your computer fresh.
2-Reinstall FsPX (you'll not loose your flight data in this case)
3-Start FsX and unlock again.
4-Start a flight it should work.

So far so good since the reinstall of FSPX. I didn't uninstall, just rewrote files over and re-entered the activation code.
