How to buy?

Hi Dan and all others!

I have looked around abit but I haven't find anything about
how to buy the product when it been released. So
if someone knows how I would really want to know!
And do you know approximatley how much it will cost?

It's yet to be decided.
The approximate price mentioned was 25 euros, but I as a customer hope it will be more like 30-35.

-I just don't want to feel guilty when using it!

I'm not joking (completely); I hope Dan's hard work and dedication will pay off and I'm quite willing to contribute.

(Ahhhhh! That money pressure! As soon or even before I somehow manage to spend my money I get a new paycheck. And so month after
month, year after a year. Sometimes I ask myself if there is an end to it and will this pressure on me to spend the money ever cease?)

I believe at first it will be online purchase only.

Hopefully Dan can cut a deal with a publisher to get it in the shops too - it deserves the coverage that would bring.

i think science dan ben working on this for 10 months it should be like 50 us dollors or 60 or even maby 70

Personnally, I hope it's more in the 20 euros range. This would make it not too expensive and quite attractive. Like we'll see in the game,

It's perhaps dumb but if you set a product to cheap it give a bad impression...
my last tought about the price is 26.90 euro (may change again) on wich
I'll have only 50% online (taxes) , on boxes in store I'll earn about 3 euro per box only.

Calculated I must sell about 4000 copy online just to payback my debt for this last years...
4000 was about the number of copy sold for the best add-ons for Fs2002...

I don't do FsP to become rich , it's clear...

Maybe you can open a humanitarian life-supporting fund we can send our money to? It would need to have set the lowest amount of
money one can send to it. And as a gesture of gratitude, you would send us FSP. Such funds are tax-free.
That would surely be a 'life-supporting' fund, so.........why not?

Nice try Fruitfly, but I don't think it quite works like that, as to set up that kind of fund then keep the money would, er, well kind of., be
considered fraud, and then what would you do for support as Dan would have Interpol knocking on his door one day and taking him
away....

Hi Dan,

First, let me tell you that FsP looks great and I can't wait to play it.

I get what you are saying at and fully understand your need for $. Have you thought of payment through Paypal or something like that or
will you be going through a distributor? If you do it yourself with PayPal, the portion that will be given back to you will be much higher
meaning that you can set the price lower. The big drawback is that you will loose store visibility (which you could probably gain by
featuring on various pages such as flightsim.com).

As a customer I, of course, will tell you to stick with the lowest price possible. Personnaly, I would tell you to go as low as you can. Let's
face it, your new VA feature is absolutely great. If you can get VA to buy into your product, you have a huge distribution network but the
catch is that you want to be low because if you don't, the players won't buy it.

Another thought would be for you to have 2 versions. The stand alone version (the one that you currently have where you have career
progression and all) and the VA version which could be much cheaper and only track passenger satisfaction and flight performance.

Just a though. Don't worry, at 26,50 Euro I'll still be getting it.

OK! Guess it was worth trying.
But there are many opened doors around us, you know. And by no means - NOT the illegal ones!
For instance, up untill quite recently ( a matter of weeks) there was no VAT in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Maybe for some ten years. The nations
just couldn't agree upon it! Quite an acceptable dissagreement I'd say! (I live in neighbouring Croatia)
So... it's allways usefull to show the spirit of entrepreneuship.

in fact I raised a bit the price after having reviewed somes others addon prices...
some recent add-on are much more expensive than FsP and don't have even 50% of
FsP possibilities... and all others add-ons that are in the same complexity range
are more expensive than FsP.

(I have even seen an aircraft add-on for Fs2004 that is sold 60 euro )

As I said by any strange mind cookin if you set a price too low the product have a bad "cheap" image
and I'm finally not sure I would get really less selling for an higher price...

Anyway I think that 26.90 euro is a fair price for user... not too high
(it's the price of one familly dinner in a mac donald) but not to low also.

of FsP anyway ...
