Hi,
I have been a loyal user of the program since the FS9 version, it was and still is the very best program for simulating the flight experience. I was
one of the first users of the FSX version and have been very happy. I watch these forums fairly often and was shocked at the number of people
complaining about the tire (non)issue.
Recently however Dans normally outstanding customer service has been somewhat lacking, he may of course have a serious personal issue and this should
take priority. That being said there are people on these forums who have paid a not insignificant amount of money and cannot get this working,
silence should not be there reward.
Therefore if Dan has abandoned this product or finds himself unable to support it, can he not release the source code and make it freely available or
at least bring somebody else on board to fix minor issues, the PC modding community (including the people who release add-ons for flight sim would be
able to solve these issues, or perhaps the other solution may be to remove the copy protection from the product, while this may increase piracy people
would at least be able to get it working, i personally could not use FSX without it.
