You want to make FSP more realistic. Here you go. My flight for tomorrow.
Get up at 0500 in the morning. Do it tomorrow this is the real world, you do not get a choice. Do your morning routine, oh by the way I
hope you
stopped drinking early enough last night to not violate the 12 hour rule. At 0600 get in your car then drive one hour to the airport. You can
drive an
hour around the block if you prefer. Try to find parking, find parking at least 1/4 mile away from your “airport” then walk with at least 40
pounds of
suitcases.. Did I forget to mention that your suitcase is ALWAYS packed. Now for the fun, security. Take off your shoes, watch and
anything else that
will set off the metal detector. Its at least 0730 and your push time is 0830. Pickup your weather, NOTAMS, flightplans and airfield reports.
Ah
finally time to go to the airplane, you get there check the logbook for squawks, gee can we fly with an inoperative TCAS? Perform the
preflight, load
the computer and before you know it your grabbing ATIS and rushing to complete the before starting engines checklist. It is load and go
and already
your 5 minutes late. 2 hours of flight and then you spend the next six hours waiting on the suits to return. Four more hours of flight and
another
city. Get to the hotel. Whew another successful mission. Guess what wakeup tomorrow is also at 0500 and because we went east the
clock says 0500 and
your body feels 0300. Welcome to real world flying. This is how 12 hours of pay equals 6 hours of flight.
I am sorry, but it may be cheating, unfair or whoever else you wish to put it, but having experienced multiple hundreds of real world flight
just like
the one I describe above, I have absolutely no will to subject myself to the drone of a computer generated jet.

Tasos.
