FYI, up until now, no download was mandatory. The charts and scenery recommendations are simply there for those who wish to benefit from a more
realistic experience.....without the fuss of searching for the stuff.
Even the flight plan only serves to make sure that peeps can easily find each other when flying online.
My motto for the first three tours was KISS (keep it stupid and simple). Indeed most often great ideas simply fizzle out in the long run because they
are too complicated to manage: it is NOT easy to keep participants motivated for more than 90 legs and nearly a year of touring the world!
As far as site mods are concerned, you are more than welcome. Actually everything is mod-ready; but as nobody volunteered so far (and most of the
corrective work had to be performed directly on the SQL DB <<== THAT's where the times goes, BTW) I didn't push it.
