Oh wait..... its the setting you get from ATC about pressures down on the deck and aloft.... or by any other weather program we use in FS....

OK, without the kidding..... read above
Its set to 2992 (or 1013mb) above transition altitude and below that it depends on the pressure zones currently in the area effecting your altitude.
Simply press 'B' on your keyboard to automatically set your altimeter to the new setting. Keep in mind that the longer you fly beneath TL, the more
you need to reset your altimeter, depending on the weather in the area ofcourse.
