Switch to IVAO..
Using emergency squawks is allowed and necessary if you have a comm-failure or an emergency.
It's not against IVAO-rules to practise emergencies, and controllers won't complain.
Unless they have A BUNCH of traffic to take care of. then they will just regard it as a cheap way of getting priority service.
But it's okay to use it and you dont have to ask..
