I'm on a Windows 10 64 bit using FSX-SE so I don't know how FS2004 works on the old XP 32bit. The only way is to try. However here http://airdailyx.blogspot.com/2012/08/ca...r-own.html are mentioned 2 service packs, the second exactly for the bounching issue.  The link to the service packs don't work, but maybe you could ask the carenado support if they are still available

I have done what you said and tested it but nothing unfortunately. As you mentioned carenado i did email them yesterday evening hoping that maybe they will be able to send me patches, but I'm not holding my breath on that one, Im still thinking of the contact points on the aircrafts.cfg, but i dont really whant to be messing around with the data.
