I don't necessarily agree here, I had a system with a Athlon XP 2500+ (about the same performance as a P4 2.23Ghz) and it was crap with a NVIDIA
GeForce FX 5500 until I installed a Radeon 9800 Pro and then the performance was more like my current system. But the CPU could do with being
improved, although I tend to think that Intel P4 CPU's are better for FS2004 than Athlons because FS2004 takes up less of the CPU's thinking capacity
(look in the task manager to find this out). In short that means it is more capable. That's why I bought a P4 3Ghz which still does the job well.
