Arrivel Time Change During Flight

I'm new here and installed the program three days ago. Since I strated to flight and set the arrivel time, the arrivel time change
independently when I start to push back my airplane. Do somebody know how to solve this problem. I get every time an penalty because I
arrived to late at the airport.

Not quite sure I understand your question about it starting independently on pushback.

can you give more details like an example of what it does?

Do you mean the arrival time is different to the one you set? The time you set is not the time you arrive, the time you set is how long it
takes from when you release the parking brake at the departure airport, until you set the parking brake at the destination airport.

Well I see it was not clearly described.
I write in the loading information the arrival airport and the time of arrivel let's say OMDB 06.40 GMT and I start at OMAA (60 nm from
OMDB) at 06.00 GMT with pushback. I arrive at OMDB at 06.39 GMT, but the programm change during the flight the time of arrivel
independently tolets say 06.20 GMT, which is 20 min earlier than the time I set in the loading sheet. The time difference between what I
choose in the loading sheet and the time which the programm take at the end of the flight depends on the time of flight. So I can't add 20
min more for this flight to be shure to arrive at the right time of the programm.

this is where you are going wrong, in that screen, you are to write the destination, and how long it takes.ie, in your case 0:40 (that is of
course if you have the latest update which now uses block time as oppose to GMT time)

i had another problem realted to arrival time. I set the block to block time according to the schedule. Usually it used to work ok but some time ago
it started doing some kind of error on long hauls.

Basically I always arrive with more than an hour advance (on FsP) even if im perfectly on schedule or late in the real FS situation. FsP thinks the
time left is more. Lets say I am ascheduled for Los Angeles from London in 11 hours. I set 11 hrs in the destination box and i release parking brakes
only for pushback. Until lets say 2 hrs during fligh it is all ok, flight time left is perfect depending if im late or early.
Then when I am arriving even if I got 20 minutes left to arrive and im already descending I see FsP window saying 1 and 50 minutes or so (surely more
than an hour everytime) left to arrive. I land, taxi to gate and lots of time left. Hopefully I never get a penalty but I dont get bonus points either
if i arrive in time and also the flight time is not correct so i get a lower time in my log. Not that the thing interests me that much as I use FsP
only as a ambient tool and not a manager but it bugs me yto have this kind of bug and hope no one else has this...

Any thoughts?

when ever i am taking a flight I am unfamiliar with, I go to Orbitz.com or some othe rplace and check flight times. there times are bases
as are FP on gata to gate. and that is the data I use. You can almost always beat there time.

no, mine is not a problem of calculating times wrong. I do arrive at my destination airport, the only problem is with FsP thinking the flight has last
less then it actually did. It's like it pauses during cruise or something like this, maybe loosing time on the way... dont know man!

whats the minimum time you can plan for a flight, i tried to plan mine for 20 mins, it was just a quick circle around KSFO and it wouldnt let
me. so i just left it blank

or is the second one of the BLOCK/BLOCK time different than minutes?

Hello every one... Just purchased my key today though I've been flying from San Fran for about a month.

I ran into that problem tonight trying to plan a short flight. You have to put 00 in the hour list and then put the minutes in. Instead of
only inputting minutes. Does that make sense?

In response to the rest of this post....I did a 20 minute flight, arrived 8 minutes late in BLOCK/BLOCK time nbut still got a perfect. I've
arrived up to 30 minutes late and still gotten my points for arriving on time. I wonder if it is based purely on flight time. I was late because
of a long line at KSFO (oddly enough at 2:30 AM) ate up my budgeted ground time. I usually budget about 15-20 minutes on both ends of
the "flight time" given in the default flight planner to cover taxiing and startup etc... I only fly short hops though (like less than 5 hours) so I
don't know about the really long flights.

usually a 20/30 minutes maxium in addition to planners should do it right. If you are departing in a rush hour period then add some more time but it
should work right...

The long hauls are just a bit more complicated. You have to rely on the aircraft perormance charts and take into serious conisderation enroute winds
as they can make you loose an hour as like they can make you gain an hour.

I did London - Singapore last night, I was supposed to arrive at 0100z and i departd perfectly on time, was ding a great job, then winds turned up to
be not as expectd and even if I were pushing at maximum cruise speed I arrived an hour later. Boring man. But we made it....
