The only time I had fspassengers crash like this was when I used different taxi music via the fspassenger tab....FSX didn't like it so it crashed.
This was also after a really good flight and manual landing. D'oh!

I am currently running a few checks to see what causes this and other problems ( I have recently had airport scenery and planes disappear after
finishing a fspax flight too ) I am reinstalling everything and running an arduous memory test during each flight - adding a new program each time.
It's early days but it seems vista x64 and fsx has a hard time releasing memory during a flight - as I change views ( ram shoots up for this ), fly
over or approach installed mega airports the RAM usage goes up and just keeps building, even though the scenery is 200nm away in some cases -
eventually something gives and causes a crash...but not always..it's a tricky one.

My problem was coming from "UIautamationCore.dll" whitch was modified with the update KB960362 (windows VISTA 32 bits).

it seems its a DLL problem.

a windows update changed a Dll file and noww FSX is crashing

so im reparing my FSinstalation hopefully that will help

I am having the exact same problems as you had, and it is really starting to annoy me. I would be able to change views for a while and
then say 40-50 mins into a flight I would change views and it would freeze and thus a fatal error.

I will perform a scan, de-frag etc... and see if that helps. Is there anything else you did?

I looked this up on my computer from the fatal error that occurred with fsx:

Faulting application fsx.exe, version 10.0.61472.0, time stamp 0x475e17d3, faulting module uiautomationcore.dll ............. [it goes on]

Does that mean there is a problem with uiautomationcore.dll??

As i said before, for the same problem, i change "UIautomationCore.dll". Then, i never have difficults with FSX and FS Passengers. The
problem is comming from windows and not from FS Passengers or FSX. You found here more information :

Yes it has, but it is occurring on Windows 7 as well and what actually seems to fix the problem is the Vista UiautomationCore.dll
file.

After pain stacking trial and error this evening, and looking on other forums, I think (I hope) I have fixed my fsx. I performed a flight
this evening that was 100% good, no freezes and no fatal errors. I could change the view and right-click as much as I wanted. Landed
successfully and that was that!

So, for me, a Vista update stuffed my UiautomationCore.dll, and instead of making it better it actually made it not compatible with FSX. So
I looked in forums and on my computer for days it has seemed now with no luck. But then I got word (and no doubt a lot of other people
have too), that you can still download the UiautomationCore.dll not updated. So I downloaded it and simply put it into my FSX directory and
my FSX works as if it did before this problem started occurring.

1. So, download the Vista 32bit version of UIAutomationCore.dll from http://tinyurl.com/l49el9.
2. Then open the ZIP folder and copy the file.
3. Paste the file into your Flight Simulator X Directory.

It should be fixed. Nothing else to do. This was for Vista, but I am pretty sure it works the same on Windows 7 as well.

i found a alternet location for the DLL, and pasted it in my root FSX directory. since then no problems

did to flights on VATSIM and must have right clicked 20 times each, everything was gravey

and the weather even called for a full cat3 ILS on the landing of the 2nd flight, it could not have gone better, un fotunitly i did not use FSp
since im haveing some issues witrh FSinn, last time i used FSp i crashed and killed anyone, but i think i got it fixed now
