keyboard freeze

I did a quick search in this forum and saw that this is a problem for some people, but there wasn't a solution that I could find. I've had
FSP for about a week now.

I've been experiencing the keyboard freezing up with FSP. It happens about 50% of the time and seems to be related to any instance
where I may make a mistake in loading, etc, then do a cancel, and start over. The keyboard freezes consistently right after pax loading is
completed and I press CRT-SHIFT- B to turn on the seat belt sign. I can still mouse click, but the keyboard is totally locked. Also seems
to happen more frequently if the pax load time is greater, i.e. 20 minute load times cause this to happen more than 2 minute load.
Memory leak???

I have shut down all programs (had to use the task manager to shut down FS), restarted and it happens again consistently unless I do
a complete reboot of the computer. IF I don't do any cancels, etc. with FSP then I can complete a flight. No other instances of this ever
happening on my machine, and I can us FS normally without any problems.... only with FSP running does it occur.

I run Active Sky and Radar Contact with FS. Use FSAutostart to shut down services prior to any FS session.

can it be ctrl shft b is assigned to some other function of some addon? Sounds like some window got the focus and so it seems like the keyboard is
locked. I had it once with the ATR, nothing worked anymore related to keyboard, then i found out the fmc had the focus and was waiting for keyboard
input...

I have made this experience, too. But it is not FSP related, it is when using FS2004 in general. As FSP is an addon I have the same
troubles here,sometimes.
Eg. I want to answer ATC but the key is not working (just I did not press it).
This freeze effect appears mostly after a 3-keys-combination as you need with FSP.

What helps me is to press the left CTRL and afterwards the left SHIFT key several times, rapidly.
If this does not help I click with the right mouse button in the outside view (the landscape screen you see through the 2D cockpit) that the
popup-menu opens. Then I click with the left key on another place outside this popup-menu to close it again.
If this still does not help I repeat the first step (CTRL and SHIFT keys pressed several times).
This then brings my keyboard back to work (until the next lock appears).

I could believe a keyboard command conflict except it does not happen consistently. As I said before, if I go through a normal sequence
of FSP inputs without a cancellation etc. , then I have no problems and the flight proceeds fine. I only have Radar Contact and Active Sky
running besides FSP and FS.

I did a more extensive search of this issue yesterday in this forum and it looks like this has been a problem to varying degrees of
difficulty for a number of people since 2005. I'm beginning to believe there is a definite bug in the program.

I'll try some of the suggestions given above, and look at my key assignments in FS to see if it helps.
