Transfering pilots between companies

I'm running several airlines, and I would like to use the same pilot whenever I fly. I know it is possible to transfer a pilot to another airline,
but unfortunately it turns out to be rather expensive, especially when the pilot gets promoted. So, is there any way to avoid paying
hundreds of thousand $ every time I want to fly for another airline?
