| FSX, Project airbus with the hole! |
|
Author: santa 28 Posts Status: Student pilot | Date 05-12-09 11:40 | hey guys, i finally found a great merge between wonderful project airbus model and the wilco panel but unfortunately the Project airbus
model itself appears "holed" on the top of the fuselage, where some antennas were supposed to be.
Why? is it an fsx concern? no way to fix it?
i'll post you an image, it's a main menu screeshot but in the game the things remain unchanged.
What i could do??

I'm just kidding.
Have you deleted any thing texture wise from FSX?
Is the A/C designed for FSX?

the hole on the fuselage top, and by the way, I use it in FSX. Other airbuses from "project airbus" show the same problem. That's to say I
don't know how to fix it. I suppose a place some where in the textures is to be painted but is not drawn. I 'll take a few time to look after it..
I'll keep U posted.
friendly yours.

Now the question is: Where to find the fixed airbus??? Does anyone know ?

Anyway, yes, Project Airbus has indeed corrected their models for this problem before they went down themselves. Guess the question is
if anyone still has the latest updates.

pimple. xD
Well I ask another question that I have here. Well I have another problem with the A319 of Project Airbus. I'm using FSX. You could see the problem
that I have on that picture:

So, seems to work.. I'm thinking that the repaint seems to be dirtier after the installation of the new model, but this could not be
possible.. .
I don't know what to do with the another problem that I posted here. Well first I have to test it.. Maybe it works now with the new
model..
Thank you HenryR

Author: Oliver 31 Posts Status: Student pilot | Date 09-06-09 12:34 | Well, now I flew a flight and that FSX model fix solved the "hole" problem on the Project Airbus plane! It solved also my problem with the
turbines, and also another little problem that I have that the taxi lights didn't showed on the ground.
So I recomend to you to download and use that model what HenryR said!
Thank you!

Author: HenryR 6 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 11-04-09 19:20 | Hello there,
It seems some add-on planes alter the effects texture folder in a wrong way. All planes lights appear then in
square as (my
understanding) the bmps in there are replaced or lost, the whole folder being replace instead of the new bitmaps
added.
So, is there any nice simmer willing to send me the original folder? I repeat, it is the texture folder imbedded in the
effects folder.
Thanks a lot.
