| Active Sky X or Real Weather Xtreme |
Author: Goose 60 Posts Status: Pilot near incorporation | Date 01-30-09 20:33 | Hey everyone, I am looking into getting a better weather system, but i wanted to get some feedback first. The two programs I'm looking at are ASX or
RWX. I should note that my frame rates are at a minimum right now with all the addons i currently have so performance is key here. Although i do plan
on adding another Geforce 8800 GTS video card and increasing my ram to 4 gig so feed back on quality would be nice as well. Let me know what you
hotshots are using.

to start sinking a bunch of $$ into FSX yet. In a few months I'm going to see about upgrading my system, too.

before going any further with on wx addons.

you will be blown away by REX.

came up flashing. The only way to get it to stop was to reboot.

At least, that's how it looks like... Don't have much experience though.

the download time.
I'm only using Active Sky X at the moment and will consider getting ASA later.
The second pic is of the Blue Angels#5 F18

As indicated, the pics are the before installation of the SHD high def. update. In those pictures I just did the random theme. Since
installing the SHD update, I have randomized the themes to my liking. Have tried Blue Angels as well but they aren't as defined as some
of the others. Randomize the themes and try each one out. I've got some shots of the high def. ones that I will post later.

fine, loading times are really long though, about 15 minutes... Its pretty amazing program, id recommend it.
