| Input utility? |
Author: Valoran 809 Posts Status: Living Legend | Date 10-28-08 04:07 | Hey guys. Is there a freeware input utility out there that allows one to input directly from the keyboard to the radio stack, autopilot, etc... like
we can from fspax? Or barring that, is there a way to do it in FSX/FS9 that I don't know about?
What I mean is: ATC tells me to turn to heading XX, I punch into my PC's keyboard H+XX and the autopilot turns me that way.
I'm going to go look on AVSIM but I don't remember anything like that available. I keep getting yelled at by RC4 for not turning quickly
enough since I have to pan down or call up the panel, adjust the knob manually (like in RL, I know, shut up), and then turn off/on the
correct autopilot switch. It's been so long since I had to do that I get out of sorts. Hurry up Dan, I'm forgetting how to fly right.

Turns on and Off heading, then do the turn yourself, and when its on the desired heading press CTRL+H again, and the plane will
automatically turn to the heading you selected....
Not the best way but thats one way
