What a piece of ****!

First of all, it's a game, not a simulator. There are no realism settings, and no realism.

Redesigned from scratch, my ass. This looks like FSX with a few tweaks.

I wasn't impressed with the graphics, because I couldn't even run it at the highest settings. Framerate dropped to 5, and it didn't even look that
much better.

I don't like having to buy every aircraft and every part of the world. Sure, the basic program is "free," but if you can't do anything with it, what's
the point? It's like getting an empty box for "free." Big deal. In fact, I couldn't even download the free aircraft previews.

They took FSX, and instead of fixing the performance issues, they made it dumb. And it doesn't run that much better. I just don't see the point.

i diten have a problem with flight.

I downloaded it and gave it a far shot, and found it to run preety good. I could tell it was a sim game engine runing it. but like you said alot of it was
FSX in a diffrent wrapper. And im glad it was free caues no ATC, no AI no weather (not really) Berley any Aircraft. and the few it does have i have to
unlock, or pay for. I hated unlocking various attachments for the diffrent gund in BF3. I really hated haveing to unlock other aircraft in Flight. Althoue it
did make me fall in love with the Icon A5. to the point i found a preety good A5 for FSX. And decided that if i had $15000 lying around, id buy an A5
and get a Sealplane rating in real life.

I thought Flight had potential, but was doomed to fail from the start. Now that its shutdown. MS is probly not going to make a new Flight sim, Caues
god forbid they admit they made a mistake, thell probly say that the market is not good for a Flight sim anymore. Well i guess thats good news for
thire competition.

Now i thought if later down the road MS released a delux for of Flight with the full world, and AI traffic. and atleast 10 planes i would buy it.

So you didn't notice there was no realism in Flight?

Anyway, Lockheed Martin is now developing [?] FSX under a different name: http://www.prepar3d.com/

well the aircraft behaved corectly. I did see Adverse Yaw in a Bank. As well as some P-Factor. All i ever flew in it was the A5. I still have it installed so
i may go back to verify my own Claims ^_^

Maybe it's the cameras, but it feels like a game. There's no sense of momentum or G forces.

I never tried Flight because of the "pay-as-you-go" scheme and the limited area to start off with. Some people liked it , some people hated it. Hard
to tell if it was weighted more towards the con than the pro.
