When I worked at US Airways at KLAX I heard stories of a guy who was somehow able to steal one of those slides after it had been deployed by mistake
(food catering services' fault) and how he managed to do it no one seems to know.

Hey, Launch...I may need that slide later on this evening in Nebraska. A heavy blizzard is expected this evening, so I wanted to get a pack
of sled dogs, several kegs of beer and mush my way back to Omaha this evening
