Hi Guys
Just upgraded to a new rig with Win 7 and it runs at 1920 x 1080 which is WAY above what i got on my old XP system.
I think the highest I ever achieved there was 1400 x 900 which I got used to over many years.
Needless to say everything looks WAY smaller now, especially having trouble reading the In Flight Report, I need a magnifying glass to see how
happy (or not) my passengers are.
I think I am seeing a wider area now as I am flying along BUT can't quite get used to the look of it.
At the same time everything looks so sharp and clear that I almost like it
So Iam wondering if you people can post what resolution you like best and offer an opinion as to why 1920 x 1080 is the best one to stick to.
I know this is all subjective I've Only had the rig for 2 days and just got (almost) everything re-installed from my XP system so don't want to fiddle
with it to much at this stage.

Well, 1920x1080 on a 15" screen is not the same as 1920x1080 on a 70" screen.
You have to find your own balance between quality and fps, and there's a million settings to tweak...

Yep I'll go with iflyfsx in this.
It's depends very much on which kind of screen you have etc.
Just fiddle around with it

i use 1920x1080 on my 37" TV.... in a distance very near.... 60cm.... and looks very fine...
