Nice to meet you, Basilis.
11 years old eh? That must make you one of the youngest forum members!
And you live on Crete? Some people have all the luck.

I have seen lots of new members on the forum lately.
So feel free to introduce yourself, or get to know the members who have already posted here.
And if comfortable post a photo of yourself.

43 year old native German forced to live in the US. My Russian ... er ... now she's American ... wife won't let me go ... heck, there are worse
things in life than being held hostage by a gorgeous woman, aren't there? I think I can stand this situation for another 60-80 years or maybe a bit
longer.
In my day job I'm a database kernel developer these days and you can find out what approximately I did, do and will do soon by throwing my real name
into Google. The first 10,000 hits or so are probably good ... including the traces to comp.lang.tcl and comp.unix.wizards ... I don't even remember
how I found time for all that. Like for Dan these days its probably been some combination of nicotine, caffeine, alcohol and pheromones.
If anyone ever has any questions about databases or SQL in general, I am not only a core team member of a leading open source database development
team, I also own the freenet IRC channels #sql, #postgresql and #slony. Stop by and meet some really civilized and polite folks. Especially #sql never
ceases to amaze me. MS-SQL, Oracle and other professionals helping someone reading MySQL for Dummies as they speak ... and they still come up with a
solution that works for that poor chap.
