I think there might be someone, but I'm not sure. I wish there were more female flyers around.
I saw a survey on AVSIM:
Out of 2310 people
2282 / 98.8% were male
28 / 1.2% were female

Yeah, I saw that survey too. Looks like there isn't lots of females interested in aviation. It's pretty rare to find a female captain for a major
airline. I think there are only 5000 females working for major airlines in the US.

The best captain that I have ever been flown by was a woman. We flew from KJFK to Shannon Ireland (forget the code) in an A330. I swear, her landing
was less that 50 fpm.

There are probably a lot interested in aviation, just maybe not simming.

When I was listening to live ATC I heard quite a few females both ATC, and pilots

Occupation: IT Support Tech, Halliburton ESG
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
FS Hobbies: Repainting, tinkering with panels, FS Passengers flights, expanding my FS folder size to cover even more of my hard disk
Non-FS Hobbies: Playing drums/keyboards/singing, digital photography, computer games (at the moment, FS2004, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and
anything relating to Half Life 2), being able to identify passing military aircraft by the sound of their engines

A very poor photo of me, looking tired and shagged out, which was taken about 4 years ago, can be found here :-

Fun facts :-
- "Graeme Porter" is also the editor of a leading aviation magazine in New Zealand. It's not me, though.
- First played one of the "Flight Simulator" titles on the Commodore 64 - Sublogic Flight Simulator II
- First flight simulation ever played was "The Dambusters" on the Commodore 64 - never actually succeeded in bombing the dams!
- Have NEVER taken a flying lesson :-(
- STILL don't have a drivers' license :-(
- Don't drink or smoke (both widely-held stereotypes of Scottish people... <sigh>)
