Author: Lonnie 8 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 08-16-05 01:47 | I had decided to uninstall my fsp and do a brand new install with the newer update rather then downloading it and updating over the top, I
wanted to renew my company and make some changes before I go too far anyway, so no big deal.
I did that and now I have a crash to desktop with the new update:
It says I have the wrong reg info and it will abort, then it crashes to desktop, I tried useing it with many aircrafts .
Things you should know, this is the demo, and I haven't tried to put in anything, and I am flying out of San Fran..
I was wondering either if there might be a fix or if anyone has the older version so that I can still try this out, I might even try the update
over the older one to see if that fixes it but there is no older version to go back on now that I've updated.

thinking that I have a key for it which I don't, I still was useing the demo. If anyone has the the version before the newest updae so I can go
back to that I would really like that.

I believe something similiar happens when you attempt to use a pirated key.

I no that you are not accusing me, but I swear that I haven't put in anything at all, and that's is the weird part. I haven't put in anything and
even if I had I'd be able to unistall, reinstall and play the demo, but I can't and that's the also weird , I can't reinstall it and start over. For
some reason, the new version is not working with my system. Which is also odd because I don't have problems with almost everything I
have had.
I want to buy it but I wanted to really get the hang of it first and now I'm even worried about the purchase because $40 American is a lot
more then I can shell out right now and if it didn't work I'd be upset, mainly because of the add on, it's good. A little spendy, but still good.

have quite some adverse effects on your system. The symptoms you are describing sound similiar to what it would do, however if that's
not the case, I'm really not sure what it could be. Dan is the man when it comes to these kind of problems!

Author: Lonnie 8 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 08-16-05 18:05 | Both versions installed just fine. I was playing the demo on the earlier one with no problem, the new version came out like a day or two
after my first install so like I said I decided to uninstall the first one to do a clean install with the update and start my company over. The
new version installed just fine. FS9 starts fine and the game will even start about two minutes into my FSP adventure it says that I have a
bad key, but I don't have a key, never had one, it's just my demo. then FS9 crashes to desktop.
I don't start from a weird airport I start from San Fran. I always keep back up installers but this time I didn't. So to tell you the truth, I'm not
sure if it is the version but all I know is that it wasn't happening before.

also my first advice would be perhaps to download again and reinstall FsPassengers
from this fresh download. (DON'T uninstall you previous version)
Also do it when you just booted you PC, windows XP since pack 2 seem to like holding file
if it was the case one or several file may not been updated properly.
