| [Solved] Altimeter resetting |
|
Author: Astral_Nomad 4 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 08-18-12 19:32 | hello all..
Im having an issue here with the altimeter and getting it set correctly.
In vanilla FSX, when you press B, the altimeter automatically resets itself to the proper Hg. With FSPassengers
running, it demands a value. Im not
interested in setting it manually, not to mention the fact i dont know where/how to find the correct value anyways. Quite
frankly i found it a pain.
Is there any way to set the B button back to its default automatic setting? I would like to always have it behave the
same as when Im just running
regular FSX.
Thanks.

this has never happened to me, I don't think it is connected with FSpassengers. It sounds more like you accidently switched off the auto Altimeter
setting somehow. Did you change anything else at all that might have affected it? First thing is to check the control assignments and make sure it is
still set to B.

If you dont know the alitimiter you must get the ATIS or AWOS report before landing. i like to set COM2 and moniter it while listening on COM1
