Hi whiskey zulu, its fsx with sp2, ive done all the install fsx run it then sp1, then run fsx again, then install sp2 and delete the fsx.cfg file
before running fsx, then ive ran fsx so it rebuids the cfg file, as advised on the vatsim forums a couple of years back.
Ive tried installing fsx, then just fspx, with no success, ive tried fsx then utx then fspax, with no joy either, then ive tried fsx, fspax, then utx,
with no joy, then ive tried al the above in different combos with pmdg md11 also, the thing is the same is happenening even with just fsx
and fspax, no matter how many times i try clean installs, (using registry editor as advised by dan) with no success, ive also used ccleaner
to remove registry keys, and ive even opened op regedit to delete them manually then re-installed it all as described above.
Any input you have to help me try get this working would be greatly appreciated, as i say - i would rather have this working than my money
back, but the way its looking i aint gonna get it working.

Thanks for the tip, i'll try it just now, although what were the reasons we had to use fsx sp2?
so theres no confusion, i do use xp sp3, and fsx was sp2.
Back to another fs install i go.

Right ive tried it and no success, a couple of times the pc froze.
As i said, disregarding fspx, why do fsx users have to have sp2 installed? i acknowledge we dont need sp2 for fspx, but we still need sp2
for fsx surely?
Any other help would be greatly appreciated, on a side note, im going to download it yet again, and re-try it all once again.

Which SP2 are you referring to? Windows XP or FSX's? If it's FSX's SP2 then FSX will run fine without any of the service packs. If it's XP, then
it's a compatability stability issue, to my understanding.

Hi whiskey, yes it was fsx's sp2 i was referring to, i know i have to have xp's sp2/3.
I have re-downloaded fspx and will try it shortly, i am sorry for any confusion i caused.

Hi whiskey, - i just cannot get this to work whatsoever, ive tried without sp1, then with sp1 and without sp2, then with sp2 again, - all with
fresh installs of fsx AND then fspassengers(always last to be installed).
As much as i really appreciate your help i think this problem has gone beyond that and i am not oing to get it working - i did have other
problems like a post above where the door kept on closing by itself but that seemed to sort itself with a fresh install.
I have contacted dan about my refund, but yet no answer, i shall contact him again.
