Author: Raymond Bunk 5 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 09-12-10 17:02 | Hi, already a few years I have enjoyed using fspassenger. Well, I recently got a problem once I start clicking 'start flight' under the fspassenger menu, I get
a CTS with the following error:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: fsx.exe
Version of application: 10.0.61637.0
Timestamp apply: 46fadb14
Fault Module Name: fspassengersx.dll
Fault Module Version: 1.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 494efb84
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 0000e752
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1043
The other menu functions from fspassenger are normal working.
Tried everything, did a system restore point to a few weeks ago, new dll.xml created, reading the forums and FAQ's, and it will not help.
Someone a solution? Otherwise I'm forced to reinstall FSX.

copy of the FsPX database folder and placed it in a safe location? If so, did you uninstall FsPX, reboot your pc and then reinstalled FsPX?

Author: philsphreak 1 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 09-28-10 09:55 | I have the exact same problem. It started suddenly and without warning. Everytime i try to start loading passengers FSX goes to blackscreen and freezes, then
crashes with the same crash report as above. I did recently intsall some Aerosoft sceneries and am uninstalling then one-by-one to see if they are the problem.
Other than that, there have been no changes to my set-up. I have done several uninstall-reinstall cycles of FSPAX and have uninstalled and reinstalled FSUIPC
and nothing has worked. Any other suggestions beyond systematic uninstallation of scenery?

your running the ENBhdr pluggin, another issue is if either of you are using the PMDG MD-11. Not a problem by itself, but if either of these
fit any of your issues I can help, other than those, I hate to say it but it's not that easy to find out without a whole lot more to go on.
FSP has a log file, check it. Not many developers give us a log, and one of the many things I love about FSP. If every developer did that
there would be far less need for support.

Not sure why such emphasys there with the !!!
You almost come across as upset, yet You still haven't provided more info like I said would be needed. Try actually reading the paragraph
above and not get hung up on one sentence. I through in a couple of known issues that might cause the problem you're having but said if
they are not related to you, then we need more to go on and that can only come from yourself, no one else.
Have you checked the FSP log?
Have you checked your windows event logs?
Most issues that I have had have been found in the fsp log but you need to help the ones that are attempting to help you.
PS. What exactly is "bay!!"?
One thing that cracks me up about some forums is when I ask a question, I am polite, provide the info that I would ask for as a tech and
never get answers, yet the ones that get polite help, fail to even care. I'm not going to make your issue important if you don't think it is.

Author: X_Man 2 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 03-13-11 20:13 | Wow! Sorry I didn't respond to the sooner. I had the same issue yesterday. Now I tried one more step before reinstalling FSX (I would take me weeks to ge this
thing to where it is now). Rebuilding the dll.xml (Flight1 has a utility that savages the old one and helps you rebuild it). It works! After 20 reboots and BSDs - we are
back in business.
So in case of next time when you have issues that you can't figure out what's the issue; when all else has failed and you are just grasping at straws :
1. use Flight1 tool to make sure registery it set correctly
2. delete fsx.cfg and start FSX to rebuild it
3. Check if that doesn't work rebuild xml.dll
