747-8 cargo & Services income
Author: Antonis SX-AKO      20 Posts  Status: Young recruit Date    04-26-12 02:41

Hello there.

I have the freeware of the 747-8i cargo and I have trouble finding a correct working payload model . Is there one?

Also I have trouble with the income i get from the services onboard. It is always very low.
From the latest flight I have the following stats:

Services Income: +437€ (0 sandwich 1 hot food 1 drink)
Services Cost: -577€ (100% quality)

Why do I sell so few hot food and drinks whith the quality 100% and the price very low? I was flying a CRJ 700 with 70 passengers on board.
Is there a way to increase the income from the services?

I wanted a solo cargo payload, but never mind I will try to create one.

About the second question regarding the service income is there anything I can do?
Is it ok to only have sold 1 drink and 1 hot food with 70 passengers?

As for the service ,it all depends on how long the flight is and what time you took off, If you take off at noon local then FSP will asume that
everyone just ate lunch a McDonalds. Therefore they won't be hungry again for three hours. Feed them when they get hungry and they will
last for four hours on a hot meal.

I just made a short flight between two Greek islands. It was a 1hour flight and I decided to serve hot food and drinks. The time of take off was
midnight and the after action report was 1 drink and 1 food. Tommorow I will try a domestic flight but this time during the morning hours, like 6
o'clock with free service to check it again

Thanks for the quick answer and thanks for creating this program. It really learned me a lot and made FSX more fun and exciting

On a one hour flight from hence forth you will never, ever, ever feed the cattle. Unless the flight is four hours or longer then just ply them
with drinks.
