| Ask atc Over 250kts |
Author: hyderpotter Www 158 Posts Status: Instructor Pilot | Date 04-21-12 15:27 | Is asking ATC for clearance to go over 250kts at 10.000 just random clearance. Like will I get atc clearance like flights from JFK to Heathrow?

Per Minute.
For example, I use the 737-800 (default) a lot, so I set auto throttle to 245, taxi, take-off, then shortly after takeoff I turn on speed hold,
altitude hold, VOR lock (GPS), then climb at 3000 Feet Per Minute. You'll still be using a lot of engine power, and with a 3000 FMP climb, you'll be
at 10000 no problem, then you can go at whatever speed pleases your need!

If it's stupid, but it works, it isn't stupid.

Have you tried going faster than the speed of light?
