One pilot flying for multiple airlines
Author: forzaksc1894      29 Posts  Status: Student pilot Date    08-02-10 22:35

Hi there,

currently I have 1 airline in FSP, called Lufthansa, with one pilot (me).
Now I want to join a virtual airline supporting FsPassengers, but I still want to fly with my Lufthansa-FSP-airline.

It is possible to let one pilot fly for multiple airlines without transfering the pilot every time? (because the receiving airline looses money then)
Or leastwise turn off the transfering-fees?
I dont want to create 2 pilots for the 2 airlines because I want to have one logbook and one flights map for myself.

Thank you in advance
Greetings, Philipp

No, it isn't possible to do this without transferring your pilot each time.

Ok, thank you for your answer.
What happens with the money the receiving airline have to pay for the pilot?
Is it lost? Or does it go to the sending airline?

It would be an idea if you read the documentation that comes with the software, read the FAQ on this site and searched the forum for some answers to
your questions. After all, people have asked similar questions ;)

I used the search tool as well as the FAQ to self-answer my question but I couldnt find anything.
So it seems the money have to be paid for a pilot transfer is lost.

It´s a pity that I can´t fly for my airline and for the VA with one pilot :(

Really? I found multiple threads relating to one pilot flying multiple airlines. The question would come in other threads that weren't
specifically asking the question in the title as well. Hmmm....:well:

Ok you´re right, sorry, I found one thread with the same question as mine.

I have no problem to transfer the pilot each time but is there no possibility to set the transfer-fee to zero dollars?
