Manual_Failure File

After much deilberation, I decided to "Cheat" and go into the Manual_Failure file in the Config file to delete tires from blowing, so I could
actually do some landings. On my first time in I deleted:
#FAIL_TIREBLOWATLANDING 37 // nothing you can do, just don't end badly at landing.
I went into the game and did a flight, upon landing my tires blew. I went back in an added the line back into its previous position and
changed the 37 to a -1, as the directions in the file suggested, so the line looked like this:
#FAIL_TIREBLOWATLANDING -1 // nothing you can do, just don't end badly at landing.
I went back into the game again and again my tires blew on landing. Can anyone tell me why this won't work and a way to disable this? I
did restart the program after changing the settings.

Short answer,....there is no way to disable it.

If you performed a search on these forums you had found numerous threads about it.
The best thing is to work on your landing skills. ;)

To find some tips just go to the search button on top and type for example "landing" or "tire blow".

Sir, the tire blowing issue is being addressed by Dan. He is currently working on a patch but has yet to finish it. Sorry to say there is
nothing that can be done about this until Dan has it patched.

Sorry, Recon, you answered before I finished my post ;)
