Do you only have this when using FsP or does it crash also without FsP?

and 3 times I tried to open up FSPX but once that happened FSX said there was a fatal error and shutdown. I am running FSX with Win-7
64 bit and running UT2 this happened with Flight 1 Super 80 Pro. Is there a patch for this fix or will I have to fly FSX without FSPX?
i-7930 with ATI 5870 so I know its not a performance problem. This does not happen with any other add ons.

configuration, or combination with other add-ons.

feeling maybe UT2 had something to do with it. Anyone else running UT2 and FSPX? I also have FSX Acceleration. I am going to re-install the demo and try some different things with different add ons on etc.. I will post what happens.

PMDG747X. Turn UT2 on with the PMDG 747X and it did the fatal error. FPS went down to about 3.0 then FSX crashed. So AT61 are you
using Ultimate Traffic 2 also? This seems to be the problem with me. Too bad guess I wont be using buying FSPX unless there is some
type of fix.

a particular program issue.

I guess thats possible but I have a very good system. Not top notch but just about there. So I dont think that is the problem, especially
since FSPX is not suppose to take up a lot of memory. It nots supposed to hurt perfromance. Maybe there is some type of mix up with the
way UT2 supplys traffic in FSX and how FSPX works. If anyone knows what it could be I would love tot ry to fix this as it would be nice to fly
with FSPSX

FsPX causing the problem? It could possibly be UT2 and other addons running at the same time. Your settings on AI traffic may be
hurting you more than you realize...especially if there are some missing textures in those AI folders. It's a tough one to troubleshoot.

Author: FLYMIA 9 Posts Status: Young recruit | Date 07-28-10 18:32 | Well I do know San Francisco is a hard spot for UT2 but I dont have any other problems with any other add ons only when FSPX is on do I
have this problem. I would like to try it in a different area away from the bay area but I am not going to buy FSPX to try it out. UT2 does not
have any missing texture files or anything like that. If I have never had this problem with any other add on I would imagine it has to do with
something UT2 and FSPX run at the same time. Unless someone else is running UT2 and FSPX at the same time? Anyone?
And come on i7-930 with a ATI HD5870 with 6gb of DDR3 and 1tb hardrive I doubt its my sytem. Unless the way it is configured has
something to do with FSPX. It will probably be a problem never solved. Oh well.

You are contradicting yourself, because you said:

FLYMIA - I myself cannot run FSPax but my issue is different to yours, I would like to know if you have customized your FSX.cfg file
accordingly? There are a few tweaks that will make a huge difference to FSX and framerates especially with a multicore processor.
[JOBSCHEDULER]
AffinityMask=14
This will change the way your cores are used.
Also, with the ATI cards I have had to do the following[ForceFullScreenVSync=1} (This is not for all ATI cards but most)
I use the following and it sorted out my vsync issues.
[GRAPHICS]
ForceFullScreenVSync=1
HIGHMEMFIX=1
STALE_BUFFER_THRESHOLD=2147483647
You can find many more very usefull tweaks for the FSX.cfg file.
FSX also likes high clock speeds on the CPU and if your board allows it you could probably overclock it slightly. I am able to push my i5
up to 3GHZ without breaking a sweat - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PROPER CPU COOLER.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should try to configure your FSX.cfg first then try the other add ons.

The point is that we can't help people who give us incorrect or contradictory information. Those are the useless posts.

How am I contradicting myself? I said that SFO for UT2 is a harder areas with a lot of GA Traffic. However without FSPX running I still dont
have ANY problems what so ever flying out of SFO with UT2 on and PMDG 747. But once I turn FSPX on FSX goes to Fatal error. But if I
turn UT2 off then FSPX works with FSX. But FSX without FSPSX and with UT2 works. Since UT2 works fine with FSPX and FSX does not
crash unless I turn FSPX on its obviously something to do with FSPX.
obwan: Thank you for the tip, I will try that out. I have decent water cooler on my system and three stock fans so I think overclocking wont
be much of a problem. I went into my FSX.CFG and cant find :
[JOBSCHEDULER]
AffinityMask=14
Is this something I add to the CFG?
