sorry for the delayed reply, been busy flying (virtually of course )
End of the day, all the evidence points to Brads pilot status being made up..
Dan had to make a decission based on his reputation, his product (and familys well being) and his FsP community, and in my opinion
he has made the correct decission.
He gave Brad the oppotunity to come clean with us, but Brad decided against it.
What most upsets me is that when the people came he from the feelthere forum, to expose him, people including myself, stuck up for
and defended Brad, so inturn, he also made us look foolish.
finally, Will and Dutch - your second home????? dammit its my 1st

wow, alot has happened here these last few days, (I haven't been here alot lately.)
When I came in last night I was shocked about the warzone that was here, I'm glad I didn't join the war. I wanted to wait until I got the story from Dan.
And now that I have, I will say that I agree with your decision Dan. It must have been a difficult decision for you, but at the end I think you made
the right thing. FsPassengers and the friendly community it has must be preserved, this is the friendliest forum i've ever seen so far, and I would
hate for it to be removed.

Wow.....
Not that I really want to get into the middle of all this.........But one needs to be very careful.
I was on one of these witch hunts about 6 years ago.....It involved a forum also.....and somebody found a little dirty tid bit about one of the
owners of the site "A".He was in the process of "Selling" the site and name to an already excisting forum "B", Who wanted to see it ("A") shut down!
Well not to go into a long lenghthy description of all the things that happened.....All fingers pointed at the owner of site "A", sufice it to that
after all was said and done it was all just a miss use of some highly credible information, But at the time all the information(read; tid bit) that
was presented about site "A"'s owner was "easly verifible" off the "Web".....And I say that tongue in cheek. It all fell apart as the days progressed,
More and more facts came to lite that kinda proved that site "A" wasnt' really being sold......But the firestorms that insued between the forums would
have made "Nero" run! Friends became enemies....people packed up and left completly never to return to either forum.
How did it all end up?

show up?
I also ran a friends name Who owns a 1958 Cessna Skyhawk here in Phoenix.....And I know he's a licensed pilot he fly's every chance he get's......No
re-turn on his name either!
So my point, And I'm not taking sides.....Just becareful....Dirty laundry is best kept in the "Hamper"!

Dan,
I agree 100% with you, you made the right choice, was patient enough, investigate as you could. What else to be done? Nothing I guess...
Keep the forum going, it's very nice for FsPax users...
We don't need this kind of guys and this kind of behavior in the flight simming community.
It is quite sad I agree especially because apparently some people appreciate SWAFO, but again what's the point telling lies??
It's always a failure (don't know in english but "un echec" in french) when something is finishing like that... For both parties...

OK, I have been watching and reading this all and trying to take it in and formulate my own opinion.
Here it goes:
1. Dan ABSOLUTELY did the right thing. Disregard EVERYTHING else for a second and Brad went into another forum as a representative of FsP and
started essentially a war dragging FsP and Dan into it by constantly referencing FsP in his flames against FT. In my opinion right there he should
have been booted no questions asked.
2. I have NEVER EVER seena r/w pilot beat their chest and make such a POINT to let us all know he was a real pilot. Most r/w pilots try to keep it
on the D/L
3. Anyone of us can send all of these e-mails to a supervisor at SWA. IF for some strange reason Brad does work for them, they would probably
dismiss him as well for the negative publicity he brings to them as a representative of their company.
4. One of Brad's claims was that he had to be real because he knew their company Intranet. I work in Network Securtiy, I know almost everyone's
company Intranet address including COA and Delta but it doesn't qualify me to be a pilot for them because I know their URL LOL
5 And finally, Brad's attitude and arrogance were not cunducive to a happy and healthy forum. I never wanted to get into it with him but the reasoin
I never returned after my surgery was that I felt this had become the "Brad at SWA" forum rather than FSP. Every thread was hijacked by his own
personal feelings and god forbid anyone disagreed with him well, he was the almight moderator.
Frankly,
Brad, SWAFO, SWACP whatever you want to call him shows absolutely no professionalism at all in any respects. He does not represent SWA well (if he
works there) was obviously a horrible representative of FsP, using their name to slander another company and does not seem to understand the very
basics of civility and professionalism.
I always heard a great saying in my house growing up. I was the # 2 goalkeeper in the United States graduating High School, had full scholarships to
numerous schools and even had trials with 3 UK teams. Very unusaul for an American. The point of all of this is that at 18 it gave me a very big
head. My coach always use to tell me that if you beat your own chest hard enough, one day someone else will come along and beat your chest for you...
Personally, I thnk that is what happened to Brad, he stood around at the top of the hill beating his chest and now others have puched him square in
the middle of it and due to his complete lack of humility and sincerity he has no idea how to deal with it.
I think Dan hit the nail on the head, he does not give two craps about FsP or SWA or how he represents them, he cares about himself and as such should
not be a representative for anyone.
On another note I wonder if he knows someone who can service my Patek Phillipe LOL
All the best everyone and my only hope is that the forum returns to the same jovial community this was before I left... Incidentally Dan, if you a re
looking for a replacement mod I would love to throw my name into the hat ... I DO feel that I can offer an unbiased opinion and provide a great deal
of value with my combination of FS and Computer knowledge...
Just my own advertisement there LOL
All the best to everyone, including Brad, if he is an imposter then to be honest, we should feel bad for him he obviously has issues, if he is a real
world pilot then certainly the most unproffesional one I have ever come around and well, he obviously has issues...

True, but now we can imagine also that **another** guy posted on the forum showed in the first post
asking basic 737 questions with the name and the adress email of Brad ? and not only in this forum

I tend to think that your name will only come up if you had a medical certificate as it seems to show the expirations on them....as well as
CFIs.
As an ATP, Instrument, etc, etc, he would have to be on there.
I have a friend in FL who is currently building PIC hours to eventually become a commerical pilot. Shows his single/multi/commercial
ratings on there....and he's only had it for about a year.

No problem Dan, rest assured that for the majority of us in here we recognize the work you did and the risk of someone with a big mouth jeopardizing
that. I think you would have a hard time to find someone who does not support your decision Dan. Keep your head up, you did the right thing.
