How to update an upload? - MatsH - 12-11-2005 Hi! How do I go about updating an upload that I've made? I just submitted my first payloadmodels and already I've discovered an error that I've made. And the file hasn't even been made available for download yet. Is there anyone I can contact about this or is it possible for me to update the file once it's been posted in the downloadsection? Sorry for all the inconvenience .... Mats Post Edited ( 11-12-05 15:21 ) Re: How to update an upload? - CowlFlapsOpen - 12-11-2005 I have a question as well: I uploaded a payload model about three days ago. When the instructions came up, they indicated that at Step 2 I would be permitted to add a comment and description. However, except for the notice itself, nothing happened. There was no form to edit, not Next button, nothing. I thought perhaps the fact that I was using Firefox was the problem (may difficulties with Firefox), so I uploaded the file a second time with IE. Same result. After the Submit (I think it says), there is a breif pause and them further text comes up on how to edit your upload, but no opportunity to edit the upload is presented and there is no confirmation that the upload has occured. I thoughtthat if I watched a couple of days it might appear, but nothing so far. Re: How to update an upload? - DanSteph - 12-11-2005 If you want to update an upload simply contact me with your upload id (it show on the title up left) so I remove the old upload and you can post the new one. About uploading that don't come with a form: it might fail if your upload fail for many reason, faile being bigger than 4mo, wrong file extension (only zip accepted) but it may also fail because of your browser's security setting (cookie and other) Hope it help ?
