Length of ambient music time - algoz - 24-08-2005

I installed some music of my own, but it never finishes the tune. It cuts off after about a minute then plays it from the beginning again.
Is there any way of altering the timing of the loop? If not, what is the maximum length of time it will play (or is it to do with Kbs)
Thanks
Paul

What are you doing your recording with?...Windows sound recorder?

taxader - thanks for your reply. I realise now what I have done wrong. It is not a problem with FSPassengers. Rather, I was using a demo
version of SmartAudio. When I read the documentation, I saw that it only converts 60% of the file. I have now used another program to
convert from MP3 to WAV and both whole tracks play.
On a separate note, I see you are probably a Pan Am fan. The 2 files I converted are tunes from Pan Am boarding music - "You can't beat
the experience" and "We fly the world the way the world wants to fly".
I used to work for Pan Am, and I just love having this music play whilst flying an SGA A300B4-200 in Pan Am livery.
It's as close as it gets to the real thing!!!!

Paul

I used to work for Braniff in Colombia after they bought out Panagra. I've always been a Panagra fan though. Probably because of my
South American connections. I simfly Panagra DC-4's and DC-7's

I'd love to get your recordings, can you upload them here or send me a PM?

What program are you using to convert to WAV format. Will it also convert WMA's? Is it freeware?

I used to use Windows Sound Recorder, but to record more than 60 seconds at a time you have to click the record button after each 60
second segment or "insert files". I've re-worked most of the FsP crew sounds into Spanish but I've been lazy and still have another 12 or
so to do. I'll upload them here when I'm finished.

Saludos,
Nigel
