PHP "import" script installation problems. - CBA_329F - 10-07-2005

Hey,

When I am trying to configure the settings in http://www.theg-men.com/ch/FSPS/FsPadmin/ to work with MySql database, I always get
the exact same message on the side of the page,

"Not connected
to TheG-Men.com server
Database: theg-men_com_-_VaFsP

mySql error:
Host '66.49.232.159' is not allowed
to connect to this MySQL server"

If you would like to see what I mean just goto the web address above and log in with username: demo and pass: demo

Just assume that in the edit configuration the password is correct even though I have it blanked out.

If any of you have an idea, please email at G-Man101@nc.rr.com This probably is a simple mistake on my part. Thanks

it's a problem with the server name username or password,
you should get those from your provider...

Re: PHP "import" script uploaded and available - CBA_329F - 11-07-2005

Thanks Dan. You were correct.I'm stupid I played with the settings a bit for a couple of hours because my web servers MySql database is
really screwed over. Once I figured how to bypass those problems, I changed the server to "localhost" and it worked like a charm. Thanks
again.Smile

Configuring the FSPlistflight.php page - CBA_329F - 11-07-2005

Sorry to bother you again, but how do I configure the FsPlistflight.php page to show the flights that members have done on the Virtual
Airline. I am able to see the flights by looking at my MySql database but it doensn't show anything when I log into the FsP admin panel
and goto FsPlistflight.php

Is there anyway to fix that so it shows the flights like the FsPassengers.com shows them? Thanks again.

Re: PHP "import" script uploaded and available - vollmey - 11-07-2005

So your seeing the data in the database but your not seeing it on the page??? There is really no adjusting the script unless you want to
add different catagories. Go into your Admin page and make sure that your database and scripts are talking to each other. I am at work
right now and I can't really look at my settings on the server.

I'll be home in a bit and I'll try to hook up with you.

I set it up on a page yesterday in about 30mins. so your proably missing something really simple. Send me to the link of the page that
your trying to see the data.

Here is mine.

Ok, in the FSpassenger Admin on your server does the center box give you a "All is runnning fine"?? And the right box "FSpassengers
Status " it says connected and it's running off your SQL server??

Send me the page on your site where you want the data to show, I can't find it.

Re: PHP "import" script uploaded and available - CBA_329F - 11-07-2005

Alright, I would like to show you what I mean as you asked, but the site is passworded to get into the admin panel. What it is, is that
whenever you goto http://www.mysite.com/FsPlistflight.php, its just a blank page. nothing on it. I'm going out tonight, if you could send me an
email and we could get in touch about how this might be fixed. Thanks. (G-Man101@nc.rr.com)

Re: PHP - CBA_329F - 11-07-2005

Yeah, it says all is running fine. The link is http://www.TheG-Men.com/ch/FSPS/FsPadmin/ but its password protected.

Re: PHP "import" script uploaded and available - vollmey - 11-07-2005

No, show me the page on your site that you want to show the data. That's the Admin page, I don't want to see that. It should be this page

http://caribeaero.com/FsPlistflight.php

Unless you got in set in a frame somwhere.

Lol. Ok I got it fixed now. - CBA_329F - 11-07-2005

Alright. Sorry about that problem Vollmey. I should have looked closer at the part of the readme that said FsPlistFlight.php was ment to be
part of another page as in an IFrame. I put an Iframe in and it works like a charm. Thanks again.

Ok, good deal.
